Rena Sofer
Rena Sherel Sofer (born December 2 in 1968) is an American actress and model, well-known for her performances on the daytime network, in episodic guest appearances and made-for-television movies. Sofer was recognized with an Daytime Emmy Award in 1995 for her role in the role of Lois Cerullo on the soap opera General Hospital. She played Quinn Fuller in the CBS soap show The Bold and the Beautiful from 2013 until 2022.
Childhood and early life
Sofer was born in Arcadia, California, the daughter of Susan Sofer (nee Franzblau) Professor of Psychology, as well as Martin Sofer, an Orthodox rabbi.
She moved with her brother David along with her father to Teaneck (New Jersey) in the year 1970. However, when Sofer was five years old, they lived in Western Pennsylvania. They resided in Ambridge, Pennsylvania, where her father was the director of Beth Samuels Jewish Center. She was a student at the Frisch School, a coeducational Modern Orthodox Jewish highschool in Paramus (New Jersey). Sofer lived in North Bergen where her father was the synagogue's rabbi Temple Beth El. She graduated from North Bergen High School, after which she attended classes at Montclair State College.
Career
Television during the daytime
Lois Marie Cerullo was Lois Marie Sofer's debut role on General Hospital. Her first appearance came in 1993, as a band manager. However, her first high-profile role was as Rocky McKenzie on the daytime soap show Loving (1988-91).
